Hamster wheelHamsters are nocturnal and usually pretty active at night. You don't want them do live a boring live and die because of loneliness, so you have to find ways to bring them some joy while you're sleeping. The best way to do this is to buy your hamster an exercise wheel. Hamsters really love it and they'll use it a lot because in the wild they are used to travel long distances to find their food.
Be careful, though, when buying an exercise wheel for your hamster because there are some things you should make sure first:
The size of the exercise wheel: look for the biggest wheel because if the wheel is too small the hamster will get health issues and it won't be fun to use it.
The surface of the wheel: your hamster wheel should have a solid surface (no rungs!) because otherwise your hamster could get injured.
The noise level: keep in mind that your hamster is very active at night. so do yourself a favour and look for hamster wheel that runs smoothly and silent. that's especially important when sharing your room with your hamster.
